We are a member of the organization 1% for the Planet . We are committed to our commitment and donate at least 1% of our sales annually to social and sustainable projects. These projects and partners are regularly checked by 1% for the Planet to ensure that our donations arrive.
We have been following the motto since day one: Every bottle of Kombuchery provides drinking water. Together with Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli eV we are building drinking water and sanitary facilities in Africa. Viva con Agua is an NGO from Hamburg that has been supported by our founder Max for more than 10 years.
We are one of the first German members of The Climate Pledge . From the raw materials to the finished bottle on your doorstep, we have tried to make our entire value chain as resource-efficient and sustainable as possible. That's why we only use reusable glass bottles as part of the Pro Reusable initiative or 100% recycled rPET bottles with the Green Dot. The best thing: Our shipping is always climate-neutral.
We only use vegan, organic ingredients in all of our products and have them certified annually by the Vegan Society. The production of our glass bottles takes place in a recognized inclusion company.
We are aware of our privileges in Germany. Together with our great customers, we take action when emergency aid is needed around the world at short notice. In 2021 we launched a campaign for the Ahrtal flood disaster, from which all proceeds were donated to Aktion Deutschland Hilft. In 2022 we organized another campaign to supply Ukraine together with Caritas.
